There are several ways in which you can participate and get involved with the Ferst Foundation for Childhood Literacy!
1) Start the Program in Your Community
We are always looking for help to spread the word about our program and getting the program set up in new communities in Georgia. If you want to bring the program to your county, please click here. After you've had a chance to review the information from the "click here" link, please contact us at info@ferstfoundation.org or call toll-free 1-888-565-0177 with any questions.
2) CAT Resources for Participating Communities
CAT members please click here for information to create your CAT manual. Download and print this information to place in a 3-ring binder divided into public relations, fundraising, registration and CAT development sections. New information is added often.
3) Students Can Get Involved Too
Students have always been great volunteers for us as well! So in response we have now set up a new initiative Ferst Foundation's League of Extraordinary Students for middle school, high school and college students. Click here to learn more and to enroll!
4) Volunteer
If you are interested in volunteering your time and skills, both the local community action teams and us here at the foundation in Madison, GA are always looking for assistance! This program would not be in existence if not for the help of volunteers such as yourself!
- Please contact the community action team leader in your community (click here). Each community has different needs and they can best tell you what they need help with.
- Click here for a list of what we need help with here at Ferst Foundation for Childhood Literacy. If you can help us out with any of these items, please contact us at info@ferstfoundation.org and we will put you in touch with our Volunteer Coordinator.
